full steam ahead
Any of you who are following along will have noticed the new website format – huge thanks to Nesh and Swati who’ve taken over the lead on all things web and design! It’s looking fantastic, but we’ve still got a way to go on content. The next thing is to start adding our events – so if you’re thinking of doing a fundraiser, however large or small, let me know and we can set it up as an event, upload photos etc. And then you can add your comments and updates, blog-style (I think). We’re going to try to find a way of logging how much sponsorship people are raising against each event, if they want.. but don’t ask me how you do it!
We’ve also got posters, information leaflets, and sponsorship forms to load up now – so soon you’ll be able to download and use these. I’ve been round loads of shops and cafes locally, and have a long list of places willing to put up a little business card box, or collection box, on their counter. These are being printed and need to be cut and stuck next week.
My lovely friend Anouk just happened to take one of our little posters into her daughter’s school (Christ the King) and they decided, pretty much there and then, to do a non-uniform day the next day to raise money for Immy Finds Her Feet – and they don’t even know her! Everywhere I go someone tells me they’ve got a plan to do a “sponsored something” – one of the reasons I’m not blogging and status-updating as much as usual is that I just want to keep saying how overwhelmed I am by everyone’s support. There aren’t really the words to describe how moved I am by the whole exercise!

Right now Immy, Owen and I are in Dudley en route to Liverpool to meet my sister’s youngest niece, Poppy Honor, born on New Years Day! If I could find any pictures of her on my dad’s computer, I’d put one on here… but I can’t..
… so I just found an old one of Immy instead!
